Leadership Inspired By Nature
Step into a space where horses become your leadership teachers. Through guided, experiential learning, HERD Dynamics helps you slow down, listen deeply, and lead with clarity and confidence. Grounded in the globally recognised Teaching Horse model, our approach is adaptable. We bring together a coaching team with international experience (executive coaches, leadership facilitators, and advocates for neurodiversity and inclusion) working with purpose-driven teams across the globe.
All profits support our registered charity, Eat Sleep Ride, helping children and families across rural Scotland access life-changing nature and equine programmes.
Eat Sleep Ride works with children, young people, and adults across generations, particularly those affected by poverty, isolation, care, or justice systems. Our person-centred approach, rooted in horses and nature, builds resilience, voice, and belonging for the whole community.
Eat Sleep Ride champions environmental protection, biodiversity, and inclusive access to nature – particularly for those affected by poverty, isolation, care, or justice systems.
IMPACT, Clients & Real Stories of Change
Our global TeachingHorse™ colleagues have worked with clients such as Google, Salesforce, and Boeing, integrating horse-guided learning into leadership and culture development.
Closer to home, we’ve supported local businesses, social enterprises, and community leaders across the Borders and East Lothian and Edinburgh to strengthen teamwork, reduce burnout, and rediscover purpose.
Each experience leaves a lasting imprint – a moment of clarity that shapes communication, wellbeing, and leadership far beyond the arena. Book a call today to find out more about our programmes for your business.
Discover the world of Herd Dynamics
Harnessing Your Potential
Herd Dynamics is a nature-based approach to leadership and personal development, inspired by the innate wisdom of horses and the relational intelligence of herd behaviour. Rooted in the TeachingHorse™ method, it emphasises presence, clarity, and non-verbal communication as core components of effective leadership.
In the herd, leadership is not based on dominance or hierarchy but on trust, responsiveness, and the ability to sense and influence movement. Horses are highly sensitive animals and respond to human energy and intention, offering honest, non-judgmental feedback. Through experiential learning with horses (on the ground, not riding), participants gain insight into their communication patterns, relational impact, and ability to lead with authenticity.
